Membership Terms and Conditions

1. What We're About

This Strategic Circle is a group of individuals dedicated to supporting each other's growth and success. This agreement outlines the rules and expectations of membership within the Circle.

2. Membership Term and Commitment

Your membership in the Strategic Circle, including all packages and circles, requires a minimum commitment of 12 months. This term begins on the date of your Strategy Day.

This 12-month minimum commitment is essential to ensure your dedication to your strategic goals, allowing for a minimum of four quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), twelve monthly sets of actions, and one set of 12-month goals to facilitate significant progress.

After the initial 9 months of your membership, you may provide three months' written notice if you wish to terminate your membership. The Circle Facilitator reserves the right to terminate your membership immediately in the event of a serious breach of this agreement.

3. Cancellations

Individual Sessions: Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, unfortunately, cannot be rescheduled. Sessions canceled with more than 24 hours' notice can be rearranged at no additional cost.

Packages: Aside from exceptional circumstances, packages cannot be canceled part-way through the agreed term.

4. What You Agree To Do

Active Participation: You agree to actively participate in all scheduled Circle meetings, workshops, and events to the best of your ability.

Give Your Time ("Pay It Forward"): You agree to dedicate time each month to providing support and advice to other Circle members in a 'pay it forward' system of peer support.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: You acknowledge that you will be exposed to sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information shared by other members within the Strategic Circle. This includes, but is not limited to, business plans, strategies, financial data, intellectual property, personal challenges, and other private information. By participating in this peer group, you agree to a strict duty of confidentiality. You must not, at any time or in any manner, directly or indirectly, disclose, divulge, or use any of this confidential information for any purpose outside of the peer group discussions. This obligation extends to and prohibits you from sharing this information with family members, employees, colleagues, or any third parties.

Your commitment to confidentiality is absolute. You will not share, publish, or otherwise distribute any information discussed in the Circle, either orally or in writing, without the express written permission of the individual who shared it. This confidentiality agreement remains in effect indefinitely, even after your membership in the Circle has ended.

Please remember that the success of the group depends on mutual trust and a safe environment for open communication. By joining, you are making a personal and professional commitment to uphold this standard for the benefit of all members.

Respectful Conduct: You agree to communicate with other members in a respectful and professional manner. You will not solicit other members for business outside of the Circle's designated activities.

5. What We Agree To Do

Circle Facilitation: The Circle Facilitator will organise and manage all elements of the Circle's offerings.

Supportive Environment: The Circle Facilitator will work diligently to create a supportive, valuable, and conducive environment for all members' growth.

Partner Continuity: Our circles are hosted by The Strategic Circle chair. In the instance of a chair or coach's long-term illness or departure from the team, we commit to a seamless transition of the circle and your support to a new chair or coach who is an excellent fit.

6. Fees and Payment

The membership fee is determined by your selected package and is payable either in full annually or for the first month if paying monthly, prior to your Strategy Day. Please note that there are no refunds if you choose to leave early. TSC reserves the right to adjust the membership fee after your initial 12-month term, providing you with three months' written notice of any changes.

7. Intellectual Property

Anything you bring to the Circle remains your sole intellectual property. You are permitted to use information shared by others within the Circle for your own personal and business use within your own company. However, you are strictly prohibited from selling or distributing such information to any third parties outside the Circle.

8. Leaving the Circle

If you decide to leave the Circle after the initial 12-month commitment, please provide us with three months' written notice. Upon your departure, you are still bound by the confidentiality clause and must continue to keep all information shared within the Circle confidential.

9. Dispute Resolution

While we strive to avoid disagreements, should a problem arise, we commit to resolving it through open and direct communication. Your primary contact for such matters is Emma Fishlock, reachable at concierge@thestrategiccircle.co.uk.

10. Our Responsibility

The Circle Facilitator is not responsible for any losses or damages you may experience as a result of being a member of the Circle. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from your participation.

11. Ethics

Our comprehensive Code of Ethics and Conduct, along with the competencies by which we measure ourselves, can be found on our website at thestrategiccircle.co.uk/ethics-and-framework.

12. Changes to this Agreement

We reserve the right to amend this agreement, but we will always provide you with written notice of any such changes.

13. The Whole Agreement

This document constitutes the complete and entire agreement between you and the Circle Facilitator. It supersedes any previous conversations, understandings, or agreements, whether written or verbal.
